Promotes research associated with creative pastoral programmes.
Initiated and supports the Australian Catholic Clergy Remuneration Assistance Fund (ACCRAF) which assists clergy working in poorer outlying dioceses of Australia.
Is a founding member and committee member of the International Committee of English Speaking Priests.
